The Clinical Nurse Consultant is a Registered Nurse who has responsibility for providing a consultancy service for oncology patients and promoting an oncology nursing service which fosters excellence in clinical, educational, research and professional leadership.
Our client is a large Sydney Teaching hospital with 21 Theatres.
The hospital is located close to the city.
Clinical Specalties include Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Obstretics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Urology, Ophthalmology, Head and Neck, Plastics, Melanoma, Upper GIT, Colo-Rectal, ENT, Neurosurgery and Liver Transplantation.
Essential requirements are:
• Current registration with AHPRA
• Clinical experience in a similar health system (UK, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand or Australia)
The position offers flexible rostering patterns and clinical specialisation in either scrub/scout or recovery is available and our client has a regular inservice program to incorporate all the latest ideas through evidenced based practice.
